In a move that underlines investor confidence in the huge potential of the rapidly growing security services industry in India, leading investors ICICI Venture and Indivision (the private equity arm of Future Capital Holdings (FCH)) have picked up significant stakes in Tops Security Limited^©SM, the flagship and holding company of India's biggest security solutions provider TOPSGRUP^©SM.

ICICI Venture, India's leading private equity player with assets under management of over $2billion has invested INR 115 crores in Tops Security Limited^©SM for a 13.69% equity stake. This will be the first ever investment by a leading private equity player into the growing domestic security business. Similarly, Indivision which already owned 4.94% in Tops Security Limited^©SM earlier has additionally invested INR. 25 crores in this transaction taking its total exposure in Tops Security Limited^©SM to 7.08%. By virtue of this private equity investment transaction, TOPSGRUP^©SM unarguably becomes the most valued security brand and organization in India.

Recently in September 2007, at a glittering and well attended press conference held in Mumbai, this landmark announcement was made by Dr. Diwan Rahul Nanda, Chairman & Managing Director, TOPSGRUP^©SM in the presence of partners Bala Deshpande, Director Investments - ICICI Venture, Sameer Sain, CEO & MD, Future Capital Holdings, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, CEO, RARE (who owns 12.7% stake in the Company) and Ajay Garg, CEO, Equirus, the investment banker behind this landmark deal.
