Amidst a gala ceremony and a crowd studded with eminent personalities from the trade and amongst the who’s who related to the common goal of safety and security of the common man, TOPSGRUP^©SM received two awards on 7th June 2006. These awards – 1) The Best Event Security Initiative (by a Manned Guarding Company) and 2) The Best CIT (Cash-In-Transit) Company are extremely praiseworthy and have indeed added further glitz to the TOPSGRUP^©SM brand.

The awards were one of a kind and in fact the 1st National Awards recognizing the Security Industry. Hosted by the esteemed magazine of the trade – Security Today; the premium awards were towards RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE IN THE SECURITY INDUSTRY. After stringent research, exhaustive data collection and keen insight, the prominent jury - involving senior representatives from the government, corporate sector and Security Today, selected, recognized and awarded TOPSGRUP^©SM with the abovementioned excellence awards.

Hotel Le-Meridien, Delhi, where the award ceremony was held burst with applaud when our Chairman and Managing Director – Dr. Diwan Rahul Nanda went up to the stage to receive the awards. It was indeed very heart-warming that members of the trade and other personalities had come together to give the industry its due recognition and brain storm further for the improvisation of the security industry and its goals and objectives for empowering the common man.

In a panel discussion that was held during the ceremony, Dr. Diwan Rahul Nanda, went on to reiterate that the common man not only needs enlightening and much awareness about the security threats that he faces in his surroundings & how his environment is vulnerable but that he also needs much empowering. In fact we, TOPSGRUP^©SM as the No. 1 national brand would take upon ourselves to do our bit towards increasing the knowledge and awareness levels of the common man and empowering him.
