Season's greetings to you! Allow me to herald in a new era in TOPSGRUP. An era that is marked with revolutionary changes. And changes that will only be beneficial to you and that they are designed keeping you top-most in our minds.
In the last few months TOPSGRUP has seen a lot of revolutionary changes that has not only realigned the group's business work frame and its quality processes but have made paradigm shifts in the security industry as a whole.
Paradigm Shift # 1:
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, ace investor and an acclaimed name in the business circles, recently acquired 16% stake in Tops Security Limited. Rakesh, who is also called India's Warren Buffet, besides being 'merveilleux' (French for marvelous) in what he does i.e. creating business and ethical values for organizations, is also a very dear friend of mine. His visionary intellect coupled with his strong analytical mind, has proved a boon for other progressive companies such as Nagarjuna Constructions, Titan, Crisil, Matrix Labs, GE Shipping, Pantaloon, Mid-day, Aptech, Provogue, etc and I am confident, that his support will help us achieve our vision faster and with lesser risk.
Paradigm Shift # 2:
From 1st November 2005, we have made radical moves in our guarding group. Thanks to our customer surveys and our constant educative interaction with our prized customers, we realized that they today want specialized service skill sets and service focus on their businesses. Further we realized that if we have to achieve our vision of becoming India's largest player and an international brand as well, we have to strategically restructure and dynamically realign, which, we successfully have. By virtue of this, we have incorporated 5 strategic verticals into our guarding group - Prime, Small & Medium Enterprise (SME), Financial, Technology and Retail. Each of these verticals would be serviced by 06 line and staff horizontals with measurable Service Level Agreements in place. These verticals and horizontals would be headed by Country Heads.
Paradigm Shift # 3:
The INR 2000 crores Pantaloon group and TOPSGRUP have recently entered into a strategic 65:35 joint venture and have formed, India's first epoch-making exclusive mall management company called Thomas Moore Mall Management Limited. Thomas Moore will in the coming years revolutionize the way malls are being currently managed and is in the process of acquiring the world's best expertise, technologies and human resources. The company will focus on lessee management; ensuring foot falls through dynamic event promotions, brand mix management, facility and security management of the malls. With the way the retail industry is booming in the country, I see, Thomas Moore as a strong and invaluable asset for everyone associated with the organized retail trade
Paradigm Shift # 4:
After the successful launch of TOPSLINE-1252, India's first and fastest emergency response service on ground, we at TOPSGRUP have proudly launched India's largest Air Ambulance Service - TOPS AIR RESCUE. Now, you as our valued customer will have no need to fear. God forbid, if your loved ones faces any kind of emergency at any remote place in the country or even in the WORLD, TOPS AIR RECUE with its state of the art medical life saving equipment and our trained aero-medical evacuation crew, will be there to save your loved one's life and evacuate him/her back into the safety net of your city.
